Yesterday was the fourth of july, and I had a great time. I got to go to the ocean and catch some rays all day, sippin on long island iced teas, and smokeing a cigar with my parents and little brother. The weather was warm, the sun was shining, and I could not have been happier :) Then to end the evening me and my family went to an italian restaurant we make sure to visit at least once every year where I got a delicious meal (of which I am still obese from). I had only been to the restaurant one time previously since my grandmother passed, and it will still never be the same going there without her. regardlaess, I still had a good time with my family. we watched the fireworks in the streets of jersey, and the white trash came out to play. I try to come up with at least three things that I learn each day. I will cover the past couple days in this post.
  1. Apparently, in NJ being a 50 year old woman and tanning beside an inflatable pool in a parking lot with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other for hours on end is the cool thing to do.
  2. My grandmother is still here, and she lives at the wildwood house, Im positive.

Lord help my family- i found a snuggy on the rocker today...why do we have that? I put that in the category "WTF DAD?" along with "Date Movie"...

I spend most of my days sitting at my computer doing design work. Thats not a bad thing, because I really enjoy doing it, but part of me feels like i need to get out and do something with my life. I want to go camping and kayaking, go back to my beach house and chill. I am going there this weekend, so yay. Although my days have been sort of...welllets be honest- dull, there have been a couple of fun things that I did this past. I got to see a bunch of my softball buds from about 3 years ago which was nice. And afterwards me and my good friend made homemade long island iced teas :P and watched the disney channel till 5am. That is always a good time.

Lemme just say I am excited to get this site back up and running! I wanted to get it up last week, but then I got sick and was not feeling motivated to do much of anything, but sleep. haha. Tonsilitis is not a pretty sickness...I never knew how disgusting it really is, or what exactly it entailed. I won't go into the details :/ Now, I think that I am finally getting better, and I can't wait to get out and start adventuring. I want to take some of my friends on a kayaking trip, hopefully those plans won't fall through the cracks. I also wanna take them to my beach house and chill there. Should be sweet.

Tonight I saw something that was very disturbing. Joe Jonas dancing to Single Ladies by Beyonce...I don't really have anything against the Jonas Brothers, but ugh....really?!? really??...come on now. I really should not bother myself with stupid stuff, but hey- its summer, and I have a lot of time on my hands haha.
